"BEEP!" A car goes, buzzing by.
In my mind I recall hearing my photography friends say that Alexandria is hard to drive in, and oh, the infamous parallel parking I heard about.
I have avoided this area to photograph in for almost 3 years, because of what I had heard.
I wish I would've never listened
This area of Virginia is absolutely gorgeous in the fall, the leaves, the colors paired with old rustic homes and cobblestone and brick- it was to die for.
Meet the Howards, this was their 3rd session with me- and their first was their maternity session in Culpeper, Virginia. Their second session was in their home for their newborn session, where I first met their little peanut. He is now MUCH bigger and I loved interacting with him for their family session- he is much more alert than when he was a sleepy little bub.
Hey there little fella! Yes, I did trip over the cobblestone, but you won't tell, will you?
When I shot this, the dad threw leaves from behind, a fun playful prompt for fall. Although only a few leaves appeared, I was able to do some photoshop magic and include more.
Ah, what a sweet moment. Little guy was definitely pulling on mamas hair though, ah- mom life.
This was such a gorgeous session, even on a cloudy day down there in Alexandria. I will absolutely be returning, even if I do have to parallel park (Or attempt at least)
